First Call for Children and Families
First Call for Children and Families provides a 24/7 phone or face-to face response to children and families in Chittenden County, with a crisis or need for services.
First Call offers immediate intervention and connects families to resources that best fit the needs of their situation. First Call also provides education and support to community providers. Within First Call there are specialized services that may be available to families such as Crisis Case Management, Safety Net (urgent response for families impacted by incarceration), Crisis Respite, and support when a tragic event impacts a child.
