SUCCEED Overview
SUCCEED is an innovative post-secondary education program for students with intellectual disabilities and autism, that’s provided by HowardCenter in collaboration with area colleges. Students have the opportunity to participate in four program areas:
- Education
- Campus Life
- Career Development
- Student Housing
SUCCEED provides students with the tools to live more independently, while actively participating in a true college experience. Students graduate with the ability to live in their own apartment, to develop friendships, and to create meaningful employment and social connections within their community.
Our Mission:
To provide students with a comprehensive college experience that prepares them for a future of success, creativity and contribution to their community.
Our Guiding Philosophy:
Students learn best when actively making their own decisions about their goals, services, lifestyle choices, and relationships. Students have the right to take risks and the opportunity to accept responsibilities for their own actions.
