Advocating for mental health, substance use treatment, and developmental services.
Join Us at Two Influential Legislative Advocacy Events in January
Howard Center is a member of Vermont Care Partners, a statewide network of nonprofit agencies that provide mental health, substance use, and developmental disabilities services and care, and advocate for legislation to benefit the people we serve.
This advocacy work is essential for shaping laws and regulations that directly affect the individuals and communities served by Howard Center and for securing funding for programs and services Vermonters rely on. By voicing concerns and recommendations to legislators, Howard Center, its partners, and members of the community can ensure that the needs and rights of those receiving services are represented and addressed, ultimately contributing to the betterment of health and social service systems in Vermont.
