Impaired Driver Rehabilitation Program (formerly CRASH)
Howard Center offers the Vermont State approved Impaired Driver Rehabilitation Program (IDRP) for individuals who have had their license suspended because of an impaired driving violation. Individuals may need to complete the IDRP before they can have their driving privileges reinstated.
The IDRP offers the State of Vermont specific evaluation, 10-hour education, referral to treatment, and review of any other applicable requirements for driving privilege reinstatement. Howard Center offers several options for completing the program, including evaluation appointments and monthly and weekend programs.
Clients may refer themselves or they are referred by the Department of Motor Vehicles or the Chittenden County State’s Attorney Office.
For more information about the IDRP, call 802-488-6151 or 802-488-6000 or email IDRP@howardcenter.org.
