Brain Health: what’s the heart got to do with it?

Dr. LaMantia is the Holly and Bob Miller Chair of Memory and Aging at the University of Vermont, Director of the University Vermont Center on Aging, and Section Head of Geriatric Medicine at the Larner College of Medicine. He is a clinical investigator whose medical practice specializes in the care of older adults, particularly those with cognitive impairment, including Alzheimer ’s disease and other dementias. He is a board-certified internist and geriatrician, as well as a fellow of the American Geriatrics Society. His research focuses on the coordination of care for older, vulnerable patients as they transition across sites of health care delivery.
