WHO WE HELP
Family and Community Programs provide child-centered, family-friendly supports to help families with children from ages 4-22 who have significant emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges.
HOW WE HELP
Family and Community Programs offer therapeutic supports which vary in type and intensity, based on the family’s needs. Services may include assessment; in-home, and short- and long-term intensive family support; parent education related to child development and mental/behavioral health; living skills for specific skill development for children; respite and crisis intervention; and advocacy to help the family access needed additional services and supports.
Additional services may include family housing supports, consultation and training for after-school programs, and focused parenting groups. In addition, the program offers community trainings.
Clients are referred through various Howard Center programs, schools, or community providers.
