Howard Center Sponsors Day-long Conference, May 22

Howard Center’s day-long conference on May 22, “Opiates: Scientific, Political, and Social Perspectives,” will feature nationally recognized experts Drs. Carl Hart, Stefan Kertesz, and Sally Satel who will offer presentations throughout the day. The day will begin with introductory comments from Al Gobeille, Secretary of the Vermont Agency of Human Services, and Miro Weinberger, City of Burlington Mayor. Dr. John Brooklyn will be the Vermont Keynote speaker and Dr. Stephen Leffler, Chief Population Health and Quality Officer, will join the speakers for an afternoon discussion and question and answer period.
