Burlington, VT— Howard Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Rya Hardee-Fauth, M.Ed, BCBA, LBA-VT, as the new director of Howard Center’s Autism Spectrum Program.
A resident of Burlington, Hardee-Fauth has been with Howard Center since 2006 when she started as an autism interventionist, rising through a series of increasingly responsible roles until becoming the assistant director of the Autism Spectrum Program in 2015.
“We are so pleased to welcome Rya as our new Director of the Autism Spectrum Program,” said Bob Bick, CEO of Howard Center. “We’re fortunate to have someone with Rya’s experience, expertise, and leadership skills on our staff. She is deeply committed to the people we serve, and I am happy to welcome her to her new position.”
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst, Hardee-Fauth earned her graduate degree from the University of Vermont where she also received a Master’s in Education.
The Autism Spectrum Program provides intensive services for children and youth with autism delivered through 1:1 direct instruction, small group instruction, and 1:1 support provided in classroom and community settings. Caregiver coaching and support services are also provided to client families.
Hardee-Fauth joins the Howard Center Leadership Team (HCLT) where she will work with staff, leadership, board, and community partners to ensure Howard Center continues to meet the needs of its clients and their families.
Hardee-Fauth began her role as Director of the Autism Spectrum Program on April 20.
