2025 Holiday Closures

As we enter the holiday season, Howard Center extends warm wishes to our community and a reminder to plan ahead for adjusted hours at some of our program locations. Ensuring the safety and well-being of those we serve remains our top priority, and while some services will pause for the holidays, immediate support will continue to be available around the clock.

Program Closures

Please note the following holiday closures:

  • Howard Center Locations:
Some locations will be closed on December 25, December 26, and January 1.

  • Mental Health Urgent Care (MHUC):
MHUC will be closed December 24, 25, and 26, as well as January 1.

  • Chittenden Clinic:
The clinic will be closed on December 25 and January 1.

These schedule adjustments allow our staff time to rest and recharge while ensuring essential crisis support remains available to the community.

24/7 Crisis Support Available

Even during holiday closures, First Call for Chittenden County remains available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If you or someone you know is in crisis or needs immediate support:
